I am a trained linguist and anthropologist with a PhD from the University of Chicago, and I have over fifteen years of experience conducting ethnographic and oral history interviews.
I received end-of-life doula training through the highly regarded University of Vermont EOLD Professional Certificate Program, and I have years of experience as a hospice volunteer with Bayada Hospice in Norwich, VT—the top-ranked Bayada office in the country. In addition to offering end-of-life doula services, I run my own life story interview service, Legacy Life Stories, focused on the integration of life story interviewing into end of life care.
